Proof of stupidity. aka frickin' OW!
Once more I have proven just how stupid I am. Went to Holland State Park beach today with my kids and my mom and dad. That's not the stupid part. The fact that I turned down sunscreen is. I was in the water up to my neck or more, probably 97% of the time, but my upper half is just ow. Rather, OW! This is also not the first time I've done this, when will I learn? I should explain that I hate the greasy feeling of sunscreen, it just feels to me like being slathered in Vaseline.

Time flies
I thought it only did that when you were having fun? It's August already. When did that happen? (Yes, this morning at midnight, I know :p ) So, they say July was cooler than normal, and believe me, I was liking it. Hot heat and I don't really like each other a whole lot, the same with high humidity.
As for the car talk that I seem to fill these post with of late, I finally got around to fixing the exhaust. It was an easy, cheap fix, why I didn't do it sooner is beyond me. The issue was the flange that bolted the header to the catalytic converter had rusted out on one side, allowing the parts to separate, making my car quite loud. Put a repair flange on, bolted it together, and hey presto, the car is quiet again. It's kind of wierd, as it had been loud so long, but I like the change.
30 minutes later...
Sorry, kind of zoned out there. I was just sitting back, taking in the cool breeze coming in the window, and listening to the wind and light rain through the trees...
Anyways.
I guess this note is about done, as my train of though has run off the tracks. Again.
