Thursday, February 05, 2004 Crazy British cell phone numbers, Ravioli Beauty Night, drama, and President's Ball

Alright, this entry is going to address a number of issues tonight, none of which are very interesting. Although there may SEEM to be an order in the above list, there isn't. So we'll start off with Ravioli Beatuy Night.
So, that Friday I ended my day with one, missing my two o'clock class by completing ignoring time..."Hey Liz, wanna watch a movie?" "Sure Jess...what time is it?" "2:30" "Ohh...I had class at 2..." Yeah...you all can laugh at me lots for that one. Then I skipped out on the symphony that I was supposed to go to for being a "student leader." So, I came up with this brilliant idea to have a Jessie/Liz makeover beauty night. Now, you have to realize, we girls find entertainment out of the strangest things, including buying things we'll never use again such as beauty masks and makeup that's really ugly just to wear for a whole...10-20 minutes or so. Yeah, it's a sad and strange pehnomena that even I cannot explain. Anyway, Jessie and I drove over to meijer to purchase some beauty products and realized that we were hungry. "Hey!," says Jess, "Let's eat our 6lbs. can of ravioli tonight!" So...yeah. The two of us decided to tackle the 6lbs. 120z. (close to 7lbs.) of ravioli that we had purchased last semester in the bulk isle at Meijer. Let's just say...things got a littl crazy...and a little full. We actually had to call for some help to finish the job...pictures of this adventure can be found under "places->photos" Enjoy yourselves.
This past week has been nothing but drama....which has actually been great. I'm making really good friends and I'm seeing them practically every day...which is awesome. WE have our big performance coming up on the 17th from 7-8:30 during the His House time. Anyone who does not normaly come, I encourage to go, as it will most definitely be an entertaining evening! The plan is for it to be in the Cook-DeWitt center right now...but that may perhaps shift to the Pere Marquette room.
Regarding cell phone numbers....that are British...let me just make a correction...they're not exactly crazy. Just different to figure out! Craig gave me his new number in England today, which I have of course now forgotten/lost...whoops! You'll be getting an e-mail from me Big! Anyway...it took quite a few tries for my card to finally work properly and when I get through...the ring just sounds totally different! well, I suppose not totally...but still! It was just weird hearing this different sounding ring! And then! oh! And then! The voice mail lady comes on and she has this nice soft and soothing british accent informing you that the phone number I have no forgotten is unavailable! I'm telling you what...calling Craig in this manner is something I'm going to have to get used to...because I just don't know what I'm going to do with this! I'M GOING CRAZY! WHHHAAAA!
President's Ball is this weekend...haha! I'm actually going this year! It should be a good time...even though our plans are really rough around the edges. I'm just going with a my entire future roommates for next year...all girls of course...so that should be awesome. I always have such fun with the three of them! Oh Jessie, Jen, and Jenny...how I love your J's of fun! I get to get all gussied up and everything...I'll be sure to take lots of pictures so look out for those.
Anywho...I have to work tomorrow so this random rant is over. TTFN!
