:: It's a hard knock life, for me ::
So yesterday I went to the hospital to get my stitches out only to discover that there were none! They were those fancy internal ones that I had before that dissolve in your body. Mmmm...dissolving stitches.
Anyway, I'm up super early in the morning here in Gatteo because I had to call Craig for his birthday. We pretty much always do this thing where we call each other at midnight on our birthdays to be the first people to wish each other happy birthday. It's one of those cutesy couple things that we do. :o) I love it. I got his voicemail so I left him a nice birthday message.
Things here in Gatteo are so great! I spend my mornings working with the handicapped and then in the afternoon, I go to the Adriatic and enjoy the beach or a go swimming in the pool. It's so difficult sometimes being a volunteer in Italy. :o) I wish you could all experience this though for real. It's so great connecting with this people. And I've made so many Italian friends here. We've even been able to introduce our Italian friends from Como to our Italian friends from Gatteo and now their friends! It's like these people have connections through us! It's great! And God, of course, is doing awesome work here. I just love knowing that ultimately everything I'm doing here is for the kingdom and for His Glory. I couldn't be happier with that.
