:: Get with the program ::
Jessie, Eric, and I have always joked about starting a band called "The Programs," based on the fact that at a gospel choir concert we made instruments out of our programs. We decided that our first CD would be called "Get with the Program," and would include many cover songs and some originals. Jessie and I have decided on an original song...perhaps our first single.
We were walking to lunch today and we heard the Cook Carillon clock tower ringing. I thought to myself, and shared with Jessie, that "this would make an awesome techno remix." Jessie agreed and then we continued to go on about how it could be on our first CD. We even came up with a great idea for a music video.
Because techno never has to make sense, we'd build a giant rotating double helix around the clock tower and we'd take turns holding onto it, swinging all the way in front of Kirkhof. That would be our music video. Pretty cool huh?
