:: Ancient mummies in old folks homes ::
Well, the break has thus far been a realtive success in most areas, but not so much in others. Not so much in the most important areas really. But that can always change, and it always does.
I have been able to spend lots and lots of time with my mom and dad which has been totally awesome. My mom is asking me to say grace at meals now and is definitely inviting to conversations about God, which is awesome. So far we've gone to see a movie together, spent time at home, had lunch out, gone for walks, and just had an awesome time together as a family. It's pretty cool for sure.
I've also had some time to spend with my friends, such as Keith, John, Tod, and Kevin. Two of those four I see at school a lot anyway...but it's been cool seeing them for sure. I'm hanging out wiht Craig tomorrow. We're going to see a movie and exchange Christmas gifts! YAY! That should be good times great oldies.
Kevin, Tod and I played a Ninja Turtles game for X-Box the other night and watched a classy flick entitled "Bubba Hotep." I almost didn't stick around for it because it was 12:00 by the time we started it but it was worth it for sure. Elvis and a black JFK live in a retirement home together and discover one day that there is a mummy on the grounds, sucking the souls out of the residents! They spring into action and destroy the brute, but not without losing their own lives. They are true heroes. It was most definitely a highly entertaining B-rated movie.
