I love how in Christ you can have holy fire bursting and causing crazy amounts of flame inside of you while at the same time there are living waters flowing from your heart. I like to imagine that this fire is so incredibly hot that the living water inside of my heart just starts to boil and steam and soon the water will really be living and moving in all sorts of crazy ways! I guess usually when I think of fire and water, I just think of water putting fire out...not their ability to coexist. I can just see the fires of the Holy Spirit now...bringing that living water to a steady boil, maybe just a simmer to keep it from all evaporating away. Although, I guess if it's living water, maybe it never ceases anyway. Ahhhh! I love it!
So, I headed out to Grand Rapids First again today. It was totally awesome! I went to a newcomers breakfast and I'm now signed up to go through a membership class there. I will officially become a member there on October 2 and I am just totally excited for it! I don't think I've ever been this happy to be a part of a church community in my entire life! And I already have my first opportunity to start serving there! Next Thursday at Fusion I have the opportunity to be the acting emcee for the evening, sort of letting people know what the night will be like, introducing the speaker, that sort of stuff. I am totally more than psyched about that and can't wait to keep adding more ministry opportunities as the year goes on. This year is seriously going to be one rockin' year for the Lord!
